Xilinx, Inc. Sr. Product Engineer - System Level Characterization in Singapore

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is interested in system level characterization to ensure absolute quality to our customers. You will be part of the new product introduction team putting together FPGA systems and developing system level tests to ensure absolute quality and a flawless customer experience.

Role:

  • Work with automotive and data center teams to understand system requirements and unique FPGA usage

  • Define and develop FPGA system test plans to test and validate key FPGA IP features

  • Develop and verify FPGA system level designs and test for robustness across process, voltage and temperatures

  • Identify marginalities or issues and work closely with SW or HW design teams to resolve

  • Implement volume level system testing

Education Requirements: BS EECS

Years of Experience: 3+ years

Qualification:

  • Experience implementing and debugging FPGA system designs

  • Experience using Verilog, VHDL and FPGA simulation, synthesis, and timing closure.

  • C programming and embedded programming skills

  • Familiar with high speed interfaces like DDR3/4, LPDDR3/4, PCIe, USB, SATA, Ethernet, Display Port

  • Familiar with embedded systems and Microblaze or ARM architecture such as ARM Cortex A9, A53, R5

  • Knowledge of other devices/standards such as SPI, I2C, SD, NAND, QSPI.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, and Python.

  • Embedded software design experience using Linux with FPGA’s or SOCs.
