RSA Fraud and Risk Intelligence - Pre-Sales Engineer

We have an opportunity for a Presales Consultant (Sales Engineer) who will be responsible to drive RSA’s Fraud and Risk Intelligence solutions throughout the South East Asian market. The role will be based in either Singapore or Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with everything from presenting to senior executives, to running highly technical proof-of-concept exercises, and everything in-between.

The role tasks will frequently vary and change will be a constant. The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated and comfortable with remote work and working in small teams.

Responsibilities :

  • Technical lead for customer sales calls to explore requirements and to explain and articulate the value proposition of RSA solutions, including features, technical architecture, and integration with existing customer infrastructure

  • Build / deliver custom presentations and demonstrations based on the business and technical requirements of potential or existing customers

  • Complete detailed technical responses for fraud prevention solution RFPs

  • Manage the technical relationship with the customer and ensure that RSA solutions are positioned to win every technical evaluation

  • Lead and coordinate technical requirements gathering at customer sites

  • Conduct and lead onsite solution evaluations (proof-of-concepts)

  • Manage the technical relationship with RSA’s partners and deliver enablement training of RSA Fraud and Risk Intelligence solutions

  • Stays abreast of emerging threats and fraud trends


  • Online banking and/or card-not-present fraud experience

  • 4+ years professional experience as part of a software company or fraud prevention technology related role

  • Technical competency in web services, Java and mobile technologies

  • Proven ability to successfully navigate and relate to varying levels of functional and technical personnel within an organisation

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Customer facing presentation and technical demonstration skills

  • Self starter who will identify and drive opportunities to improve the business

  • Familiar with web and mobile programming languages

  • Familiar with online banking, mobile banking and card-not-present fraud prevention technologies

  • Familiar with risk-based authentication and behaviour analytics technologies

  • BSc in computer science or equivalent is highly desirable

  • Role will involve travel up to 40% of the time
