We are currently seeking applications from experienced, driven and proactive Technical Officers to join our dynamic Verification and Validation Engineering Team in Product Development. The Verification and Validation Engineering team is responsible for Systems Design Verification and Design Validation across all of ResMed’s Global Business Units.

Let’s talk about the role:

The Technical Officer will provide technical support to the V&V department. You will be performing protocols to support the Verification and Validation for ResMed products under development and documenting results. Additionally the Technical Officer will provide support in setting up and maintaining the V&V laboratory and its equipment.

As the successful candidate your day will include but not be limited to;

  • Performing test protocols

  • Perform routine verification and validation testing

  • Prepare prototypes for testing

  • Document results

  • Investigate anomalies and failures

  • Working closely with Engineers to assist in the development and construction of test equipment

  • Perform small equipment assemblies and upgrades as required

  • Provide support in procurement of new equipment

  • Set up, qualify and maintain test benches

  • Laboratories

  • Set up and maintain the amenity of the laboratories

  • Source for equipment, ensure they are purchased, maintained, calibrated, tracked and that the equipment databases are kept up to date in accordance with Quality System requirements

Let’s talk about you:

To really get us excited, you will have Tertiary qualifications (to Associate Diploma level) in an applicable electrical, electronic, mechanical or mechatronic field and experience in setting up, troubleshooting and the repair of electronic and mechanical equipment.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to adapt and find solutions resourcefully in a dynamic environment. This person needs to be able to prioritise tasks effectively within a dynamic environment and does proactive and timely reporting of results and issues to stakeholders and accurate documentation of results in accordance with Quality System Requirements.
