As a Test Process Engineer, you will be reporting to the Test Technology and Process Manager in Singapore. You will work closely with the Operations, IT, Planning teams and vendors. In this exciting role, you will contribute to smart manufacturing enablement for our future generation of All Programmable devices.

Job Description:

  • Own and work closely with vendor to setup, solve and fine tune all processes related to and in Final Test and Wafer Sort
  • Material Incoming, inspection criteria / sampling, hold disposition with Foundry & Assembly Engineer
  • Test / sort in-process handling
  • Backend, Post-Test / Post-Finished Goods for 2D and cloud binning products
  • Tape and reel process
  • Material Outgoing, inspection criteria, hold lot disposition with offshore test plant
  • Labelling and packing process
  • RMA / stock rotation process
  • Actively drive all MES/IT systems that are required to support test and sort processes
  • Transaction for each stage
  • Data transfer between Xilinx and offshore test plant (both ways) in B2B
  • Knowledgeable in internal BOM and external BOM setup and requirements
  • Resolve Visual mechanical (VM) failures / issues found at Offshore Test Plant related but not limited to:
  • Lead / Ball scan
  • Incoming and outgoing inspection
  • Customer RMA (missing solder balls, bent leads etc..)
  • Tray and carrier tape management

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering with 3-5 years of related process experience in semiconductor testing environment

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

  • Demonstrate initiative and evidence of the ability to be self-directing.

  • Ability to work effectively within and across organizations
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge in MES and IT systems and equipment (wafer prober, test handlers and post-test equipment)
