Rambus Account Manager in Singapore, Singapore
The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Corporate VP, Head of Worldwide Sales, Rambus Payments. As such she/he is part of the Rambus STP function, supporting sales for the Rambus Payments Business Unit, within the Rambus Security Division.
Depending on the scale of activities in the assigned region, the Regional Sales Manager may have direct reports.
Achieve targeted sales in region, based on AOP.
Generation of new business with new clients and partners.
Maintain a good, healthy business relationship with existing clients and partners.
New business sales
Actively identify and respond to leads. For example monitor country by country activity within the region, to identify potential new Rambus Payments product and service opportunities, and ensure that Rambus Payments directly proposes to these and is included in all relevant RFI/RFP/Tenders.
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, etc., to generate new contacts and maintain network for an up to date view on region, market, and to identifying new opportunities.
Maintain good relationships with key players (e.g. industry partners, consultants, and other regional influencers) to help position Rambus positively for all opportunities.
Maintain a close relationship with customers and partners.
Respond to customer change requests;
Generate new business from existing customers by actively identifying and progressing appropriate upgrades and cross-selling opportunities.
General supporting role for other departments related to providing client specific information. For example answering questions from accounting, helpdesk and training & documentation.Proposals:
The Regional Sales Manager is ultimately responsible for the commercial response, fit for purpose, and quality of all proposals.
The Regional Sales Manager makes a draft proposal considering relationship, positioning and pricing and provides this information to the bid manager and Technical Sales Manager so they can adjust or add detail to the proposal.
The Regional Sales Manager will QA and finalize the proposal prior to signing off the proposal internally in accordance with STP process and deal value.
The Regional Sales Manager will ensure timely delivery of the proposal with explanation or presentation to the customer.

Responsible for input and maintaining up to date info in CRM system
Responsible for keeping relevant knowledge up to date
Responsible for managing travel as required by the role, in conformance with Rambus policies and approved by the Corporate VP, Head of International Sales, Rambus Payments

Key Sales Objectives, reviewed 6 monthly
Follow the relevant ISO procedures for Sales, validated by internal and external audits
Relevant parts of the internal quality management system.
RTP Sales Procedures.
Rambus HR Policies.
Bachelors degree in scientific field or business or related field.
Knowledge of Rambus product range and history, specifically Rambus Payments.
Knowledge of Finance, Government and Fortune 500 market.
Knowledge of smart card technologies and/ or management software systems.
Knowledge of Card, Mobile & Digital Payments, e-commerce, and Tokenization.
Knowledge of software licensing.
Knowledge of CRM systems.
Written and verbal communication skills:
English (level: native speaker with excellent written skills)
Other languages relevant to region: preferred.
Experience in reaching aggressive sales goals, minimum 5 years.
Experience in large account management in a technical environment, minimum 3 years.
Experience in development of business plans.
