Right now we are looking for a Director, Parts and Logistics Solutions for region APAC, Sales & Marketing. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Aftermarket & Customer Solutions, region APAC and is responsible for 2 main areas :
Develop and implement effective parts sales & marketing plan that maximise revenue and profitability targets
Develop logistics concept to ensure optimal supply chain solutions for parts and loose attachments supply in Region APAC
This position will be based in Singapore.
Develop, implement and manage global and regional parts marketing programs and sales processes to achieve respective targets
Develop dealers’ aftermarket commercial mindset through initiatives such as:
Helping dealers to plan, develop and execute periodic marketing and promotional activities
Helping dealers to improve their sales management processes
Supporting commercial training for dealer service and parts sales teams
Manage the Parts pricing process in Region APAC.
Interface with Customer Solutions Global Parts Organization to select and drive implementation of suitable global programs in the region
Deliver the key actions for product launch preparation as required ( eg , parts pricing, dealer initial stocking, etc)
Responsible for managing and controlling the department budget
Key Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or engineering
Minimum of 10 years of aftermarket sales & marketing experience preferably in construction equipment industry
A strong understanding of the industry and how a dealership operates required
Good understanding of financial principles relative to the operations of the parts department.
A good working knowledge of sales management process, technics and methods.
Good planning, strong organization skills and ability to establish priorities
Commercially and business focused, target-driven with “self-motivated” initiator skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information effectively
Ability to solve and analyze problems and deal with complexity
Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel)
Additional Important Requirements (e.g. language, mobility):
Good command of English language
Experience in aftermarket sales in CE industry
Excellent sales and strong negotiation skills
Strong general business acumen and maturity
The ability to work calmly under pressure
Good planning and organisational skills
Hands on and result driven
Sensitivity to different cultures
