Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain equipment level in Singapore to ensure adequate inventory level at the various depots to meet the booking demands
Plan for regional repositioning and arrange for outbound loading vessels for as per ARO direction
Plan and arrange trucking of equipment to terminals.
Depot visit for training and audit, as required
To check empties import declaration discrepancy between APL and PSA record
To follow up on overland – short land containers
Prepare daily inventory report.
Verification of costs and follow up on cost recovery (include PSA invoice)
Supporting M&R on equipment ear-marked for reposition
Support movement and activities to the US Military and to US Navy
Any other relevant tasks, as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor
- Minimum Diploma in Shipping related subjects
- Minimum 3 years of shipping experience in Supply Chain & Logistics
Ship Agency business processes
Knowledge of container operations procedures, including M&R
Strong knowledge of Logistics planning
Independent with high self-discipline
Strong organizing, planning and time management skill
Attention to details
- Proficiency in English (writing and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel is a must)
