Kemin is seeking a self-motivated IT Systems Specialist to work with our global Tier 3 Applications Team. Duties and Responsibilities

This full-time IT Systems Specialist position will be a talented SharePoint Administrator responsible for working within our global infrastructure to support our SharePoint environment. They will be expected to assist with maintaining existing SharePoint sites, including correcting problems with sites, as well as managing access and permissions requests and building new SharePoint sites for end users, teams, and departments across the entire global business. They will also be expected to work with businesses and the IT team to ensure business owners of existing SharePoint sites are following policies for use. Experience with SharePoint Online as part of the Office 365 system is preferred, though experience with SharePoint 2016/2013 environments is also acceptable. Experience creating, designing, and implementing workflows using SharePoint Designer and/or Nintex is a must. They will need to be able to work with a global team coordinating tasks and projects in order to keep existing systems running well, and implement new technologies to move the company forward.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Work Tier 3 help desk tickets to correct SharePoint issues, including permissions/access requests

  • Work as liason between IT and the business to understand, coordinate, and build SharePoint solutions

  • Work within a SharePoint Online (Office 365) environment using existing tools

  • Assist IT with auditing SharePoint sites under business control and ensuring adherence to policies

  • Assist IT management in guiding the organization’s use and improvement of our SharePoint environment

  • Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance and support our global business

  • Provide technical and end-user training on SharePoint and solutions built within SharePoint

  • Act as primary technical resource for global projects related to SharePoint solutions

  • Follow technology trends to ensure the company is making the best use of technologies available

  • Create and maintain workflows within SharePoint using either SharePoint Designer or Nintex

  • Create and maintain documentation to support assigned systems

  • Potentially be available at off-hours to assist with emergencies on systems for which they are responsible

  • Other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)

  • 2-4 years relevant SharePoint experience, preferably on SharePoint Online (Office 365) or SharePoint 2016/2013 on-prem

  • Experience working with SharePoint Designer

  • Experience with help desk ticketing software
