Philips Payroll & Benefits Specialist in Singapore, Singapore

You are responsible for:

  • Managing payroll related activities including timely payment of employees’ salaries

  • Performing monthly payroll reconciliation

  • Delivering sound customer solutions and builds effective relationships with customers

  • Handle payroll enquiries according to policies and procedures is required

  • Performs other authorized changes in relevant backend systems

  • Handles escalated payroll related queries and reviews/validates payroll related reports

  • Work with Data Team and Contact Center Advisors with exceptions handling processes

  • Translates policy design to processes, which can be delivered by the Shared Service Centre

  • Supports policy development activities in the Functional leadership through providing experience of likely scenarios, and supporting delivery of reports

  • Working on temporary projects as necessary and required

  • Support internal and external audit and government survey per request

  • Benefits Administration, work closely with rewards team and 3rd party to manage employees’ benefits and insurance plans and claims.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations

  • Good MS Excel and SAP system skills preferred

  • Minimum 2 years’ of experience in payroll and human resource administration

  • Basic knowledge and some exposure in payroll and benefits administration

  • Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Detail oriented
