Principal Consultant - HCM

Preferred Qualifications

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct fit-gap and design workshops to design business process and solutions and configuration to support customer requirements.

  • Translate customer requirements to functional specifications including functional design for customizations and extensions.

  • Configure and test system

  • Communicate and liaise with Key Users for complete analysis of business requirements

  • Conduct training on product functionality and implemented solution

  • Producing the fit-gap analysis document for functional stream

  • Support the Technical Consultants in the design of customizations/extensions, interface, data migration, /conversion and reports.

  • Lead and conduct testing including Systems Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing

  • Post Production Support including troubleshooting and resolving issues, and guiding users

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years functional experience demonstrating a good implementation experience in Oracle HCM/HCM Cloud

  • Specialization in one or more of the following industries will be an advantage: Banking and Financial Services, Telecommunications, Technology, Manufacturing and Distribution.

  • Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Technology, Engineering, Accounting/ Business or Equivalent Experience

  • Demonstrate strong business process, analytical skills, problem solving skills

  • Experience in software full lifecycle methodology with functional role in at least 4 full project implementation or upgrade projects.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment to liaise with clients, sales, consulting, project management, and offshore delivery center

  • Able to travel as needed in support of assigned projects (about 50%)

  • Capable to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision yet can participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication, active listening and interpersonal skills

  • Good time management and organized

  • Adapt to new projects and environment quickly with a strong personal drive and can-do attitude

  • Able to learn new products and technologies on the job quickly

  • Experience in SaaS is a MUST

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
