JOB FUNCTION

Work closely Account Managers (AMs) /Account Service Representatives (ASRs) to provide support and assistance on renewal related activities on both group and individual policies.

This role involves the preparation of renewal notices and renewal acceptance checklist for group and individual policies, support intermediaries and clients regarding plan administration for existing policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for preparing all small group renewal quotations Assist AMs with renewal re-work and follow up with internal stakeholders Maintain policy retention records including reason(s) for attrition, cancellation and lapses Responsibility for keeping an efficient filing system and filing documentation in the relevant broker or client files Assist AMs with ad-hoc admin duties Assist brokers/ clients with simple enquiries Handle claims enquiries from brokers and members Promote the best image of the Company through a professional manner, personal appearance and behaviour, and adhere to company standards and procedures

Internally: Underwriting, Client Services, Claims, Plan Sponsor Liaison, Credit Control, Commissions Payment, Complaint Resolution Team

Externally: Customers and Intermediaries

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A good standard of education is essential Experience of administration procedures in a sales/customer service role within an insurance role would be beneficial Strong communication skills including letter writing and telephone manner The individual should be confident in making decisions, be able to think creatively, be discreet and able to absorb information and technical knowledge easily Good analytical skills and a financial awareness is required Computer literacy and proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite is essential.
