APL Senior Analyst / Specialist, Local Revenue Management (1 year contract) in Singapore, Singapore

- Brief Description
This position will be responsible for providing financial/administrative services, generate Local Revenue performance report & dashboard (KPIs) and provide Demurrage & Detention, Local Revenue, Write-off, Idle Full container analysis during A2L. Assist LARA Lead to coordinate the transition from APL System to LARA System.
- Key Result Areas
Meet the project milestones to complete all the scheduled tasks on time with quality.
Understand current APL processes globally per function, understand LARA system and processes; Work with LARA Lead to communicate to countries on to-be processes.
Bridge gap between current APL process/concepts to the new LARA system
Help to drive initiatives to successful conclusion
Ensure Dashboard functionality and accuracy after A2L
- Key Accountabilities/Duties
Complete the project documents per project team requirements.
Engagement with IT and Commercial Regional Leads.
Drive Alignment with the entire project team (Commercial / GSSC/ Business
Resolve Questions / Disagreement amongst the team as and where required
Coordination with SMEs and team members on tasks/actions/inputs/meetings for the project.
Capture minutes for meetings, executing configurations setting and data field mapping, other logistics and admin support.
Stitching data from other sources to create all LRM Performance Dashboards on MSBI
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in business analysis, business management or economics from an established and reputable university is a prerequisite.
Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, transportation industry or export trade, or similar combination of education and experience.
Experience in data compilation and analysis of data in EXCEL is must
Experience in performance management
Knowledge in APL and APLL systems including BVA, STAR, RAD, GQL modal is an advantage
Able to work independently and responsibly.
Good PC workstation skills (Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical skill.
Problem solving skill.
Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skill to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
Work under pressure and limited time and resources
