Job Description

The Manager – Health & Benefits Sales will work with the Sales & Marketing team on a day to day basis, with support and expertise provided by the wider teams, namely Broking and Client Service.


  • Develop and grow ‘New’ sales in the Large Commercial / Corporate segments
  • Actively search for new clients by developing leads through social platforms, cold calling, following up on direct marketing, attending networking events and converting leads to sales opportunities
  • Execute Local Market Plans and develop a pipeline of opportunities in the Large Commercial / Corporate segment, with full responsibility for converting those prospects to clients
  • Develop opportunities by demonstrating risk, insurance, consulting expertise and ability to help solve clients’ problems in benefits administration
  • Ensure smooth transition of ‘New’ accounts and strong collaboration to Broking and Account Servicing team in delivering distinctive client values
  • Manage responses to tenders and develop quality presentations as needed, work with the relevant bid management in country and regional expertise
  • Facilitate cross-selling activities as directed by supervisor
  • Follow the Aon sales process, including regular sales activity, accurate pipeline updates and branding standards
  • Contribute, as required, to ARS Singapore initiatives in general by providing constructive challenge and implement agreed initiatives
  • Achieve sales revenue target
  • Perform other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by your supervisor


  • University degree and/ or a professional qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Health & Benefits industry
  • Proven record of sales success
  • Highly motivated
  • Highly articulate, an effective communicator who uses consultative selling skills
  • Exceptionally organised with strong time management skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines while maintaining prospect relationships
  • Creative and lateral thinker
  • Confidence to present to audiences / decision makers
  • Strong computer/systems literacy including first class Word and PowerPoint skills
