Primary Purpose:

Cost planning, estimation and measurement of quantities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•Cost planning, estimation and measurement of quantities.

•Preparation of tender documents.

•Tender evaluation and reports, interviews and clarifications.

•Compiling contract documents.

•Assist to assess claims for Extension of Time and Loss & Expense.

•Assessment of variation orders and putting up recommendation for the S.O./S.O.R.’s approval.

•Project budget and cost control.

•Processing progress payment claims with interim valuations.

•Settlement of final accounts.

•Assisting in dispute settlement.

•Assisting the S.O./S.O.R. in contracts administration.

•Advising the S.O./S.O.R. on cost and contractual issues on Main contract as well as Subcontracts connected to the project.

•Preparation of valuation of the Contractor’s Monthly Progress Payment claim.

•Assist the Contracts Manager in his/her duties.

•Relevant duties as and when assigned by your reporting manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Job Qualifications:

•Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying/ Construction Management/ Building Services or equivalent qualification.

•Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in supporting Project Managers / Contract Managers in the delivery of projects in engineering and construction industry.

•Meticulous, independent, highly motivated, results-oriented and good team player.

•Able to manage stakeholders (contractors, consultants and client).

•Good written and oral communication skills.

•Able to work independently with minimum guidance and meeting tight deadlines.

•Experienced in Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) preferred.

•Comfortable to work in construction site in the west area
